Rosemary Crawford, LMHC

Serving Clients as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in my private practice since 2012.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2008, followed by my Master’s Degree in Counseling from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2012. I opened my private practice that same year, alongside my affiliation with Northwest Family Life, and I’ve been helping people untangle the complexities of power, control, and connection ever since.

During my internship at the Salvation Army, I supported clients one-on-one in their free(/work-trade) recovery program and facilitated two process groups. I also completed a year-long externship at Mend, where I deepened my education in the integration of psychology and intersectionality. Those early experiences sparked what has become a lifelong love and curiosity for the connections between the human heart, mind, body, and soul/spirit.

Today, my work is rooted in helping others learn to trust, love, and respect themselves more and more every day. I specialize in a highly relational approach to therapy—bringing compassionate curiosity, warmth and keen reflections into each session.

My expertise is grounded in trauma, abuse, and addiction recovery, with a particular focus on the implications of power dynamics in private, public, systemic, and spiritual realms. For six years, I was a Washington State Certified Domestic Violence Treatment Provider working with participants who volunteered or were court ordered to be part of the program. I am also trained in EMDR and Lifespan Integration—really cool and gentle trauma work modalities.

While my 1:1 practice is full, my teaching space is wide open.

Join me there, where I share the same core tools, clarity, and “aha moments” that help my clients in private sessions—without waiting for an opening on my proverbial couch.
